Headbang For Science provides an annual scholarship award to a graduating high school senior, majoring in science/medicine, has financial need, possesses a 3.5 GPA or above, and is far beyond passionate about Heavy Metal music. The first and only public charity dedicated to headbangers who excel in science and want to pursue a medical career. The board of directors includes a Grammy award winning artist, the biggest rock festival promoter and other music industry leaders all wanting to give back to the heavy music community through a unique and academically motivating program. Finally diehard Metalheads can achieve national recognition and monetary rewards for their educational achievements.
